Can the plagiarism programs make spritesheets like this?

I'm having trouble getting into my account to ask the uploader, but maybe someone here can tell me if it's a waste of my effort. The image looked to me like it had been designed by a person. The account has been around since 2017 with a resonable number of uploads. I'm just not sure with how there's no other signs of the uploader on art or design sites I've checked where it's really come from.

The thing that’s making me think it isn’t is that the features are actually consistent across the different perspectives, from what I can tell. Always the same number of minor details like fins and extra thrusters. Anyone else can correct me if I’m wrong.

AI pixel art does exist, though. Not sure if it can do exactly this.

I can tell you it’s a waste of effort: if someone isn’t upfront about saying it’s AI art I doubt they’ll tell you honestly whether or not it’s AI.

I doubt that’s AI, though, as the details are too consistent across all the views.

If that image is pixel art, then we’re stretching the definition too thin. I also wouldn’t describe it as a sprite sheet as there’s too few views and they’re at different topdown angles. It just looks like a 3D model presented at different orientations.

Very clearly not AI. The symmetry and consistency of detail at all those various angles is not something gen AI can do.

This is 3D modeling and I'm glad you didn't have the opportunity to harass the artist.

Pixabay currently requires that "Content which is AI-generated" is marked. This image is showing up as "authentic".

To be fair to OP, I assume that the reason for this thread is that he wanted to use the image for something and wanted to make sure it wasn’t AI. So not as much a discussion as a “hey can you guys help me double check?”, which is a lot more important/useful.

Yep. It's in cover art for an ebook I'm about to publish. I needed to confirm sources.

I'd say it isn't, because one of the core problems with AI generated imagery is that consistency isn't it's strong point. It looks 3D modelled and rendered to me.
